About This Project
Dr. Picart is a person of many talents – professor, painter, dancer, and soon-to-be lawyer. She has entrusted WonderWebz with numerous sites over the years and we recently created a beautiful design for her latest class, Renaissance to Enlightenment, a Humanities course on Western culture. Since she had relatively little content and a short time frame within which to work, we focused on creating a backdrop of representative paintings from her class’s topics. Using new Javascript technologies and CSS3, we were able to size the background of the site to any viewer’s monitor and revolve the paintings every few seconds. We hope her students enjoy the site almost as much as her class.
